all STEAM Fanatics!!
STEAM Night will be held March 24, 2020. There will be a variety of STEAM
activities for you to explore in the KCES cafeteria. In addition, you may want to participate in the Science Fair or STEAM Challenge portion of the evening.
What is
the STEAM Night and the Science Fair/STEAM Challenge?
STEAM Night is a fun-filled, family event where students have the opportunity to explore various STEAM activities. The Science Fair and STEAM Challenge offer an opportunity for every Kersey Creek student to explore the creative world of
scientific and technological problem solving and design, and to share their discoveries with others. Participation in the Science Fair or STEAM Challenge is NOT required to participate in the STEAM activities!

Fair and Invention Convention is to:
• Foster students’
creativity and enhance their learning experiences.
• Challenge students to
think and use their imagination.
• Explore and test solutions
to a problem or a need.
• Encourage students to
try. There are no bad ideas!
• Learn, apply and
understand the engineering design
method as young scientists!
